How to Increase Your Self-Esteem and Confidence ?
Corpus Curare Spiritumque
Whenever one is beset by a situation that he or she is unsure of – facing someone admired, having to perform in front of an audience, or simply talking to others – he or she is facing a goodly amount of stress. Confident people are usually able to face these situations without blinking; but the rest of us will probably melt away and try to run away from the situation.
For most people facing this kind of low self-esteem, these situations present an opportunity for them to make fools out of themselves. This is a very embarrassing prospect.

Depression and Anxiety
Corpus Curare Spiritumque
Depression and anxiety appear to be two different emotional responses humans are capable of having. We do not usually associate these two disorders with each other. But research has shown that depression and anxiety do in fact co-exist, much to the detriment of their sufferers.

When you picture someone with depression you think of all the normal symptoms associated with it: Despair, hopelessness, anger, fatigue, an unwillingness to be a part of society and a feeling of being overwhelmed by everyday life.

Get Moving when Worried or Stressed
Corpus Curare Spiritumque
When we face depressive situations our minds and thoughts are usually clouded with worry, fear, anxiety and sadness. Needless to say, diverting our minds from these emotional states-at least temporarily- may help with dealing with them.

Friends, one sure-fire way to accomplish this is through exercise.

How Do I Know If I Am Severely Depressed ?
Corpus Curare Spiritumque
Curiously easily diagnosable and treatable medical problem, depression happens to at least 20 million American adults every year. As we discussed earlier, although everyone has experienced sadness and feelings of being depressed, people that are suffering from true depression have many frequent and recurring long-term symptoms, making them view life as something not worth living.

Bring An End To Depression
Corpus Curare Spiritumque
Everybody gets the blues once in a while. It's normal to feel sad on a rainy day, get sentimental over a lost love, or feel so terribly lonely during really low moments of your life.
Everybody gets the blues once in a while. It's normal to feel sad on a rainy day, get sentimental over a lost love, or feel so terribly lonely during really low moments of your life.
But once depression gets out of hand, it can wreak havoc on your mental state and drive you to such emotional lows - to the point that you might seriously choose ending your life.

Depression And Suicide
Corpus Curare Spiritumque
Eighteen year old Catherine had everything: the most supportive family, a loving boyfriend, awesome set of friends and a comfortable life. But all of these things took a backseat when she was diagnosed with depression. From the bubbly chatterbox that she was, she morphed into a melancholic girl who had nothing in mind but to kill herself.

Andropause and Depression
Corpus Curare Spiritumque
Andropause correlates directly with depression – a major player in the notorious mid-life crisis period men face in their late 40´s to late 50´s. There are a wide variety of symptoms and conditions men experience during this mid-life transition – everything from the mental (i.e. irritability) to the physical (loss of libido, lack of energy, and weight gain) Depression, left untreated, can be a disabling condition.
